The Angel speakers are a full range two way
system consisting of twin 8' SEAS Excel drivers in a unique open baffle
cabinet using our patented variable path length cancellation design. The
crossover point is 300Hz and the linear phase 96dB per octave slopes
ensure a beautifully seamless handover from bass to low midrange.
Our unique open baffle bass design is the
only perfectly balanced way to run conventional pistonic drivers. We have
achieved a level of speed and naturally box free sound that has not been
possible before. Other benefits include retaining the punch and
palpability of cones combined with the detail of panels, room friendly
placement in large or small rooms and lighter more manageable cabinet
design. The Angels have a beautiful open, fast and textured bass flat to
approx 33Hz in most rooms.
As an option you can add a pair of Predator
sub woofers to cover the 14Hz to 80 Hz range ( crossover can be varied
depending on customer preferences) which gives all the advantages of the
open baffle Angel bass and low midrange plus the awesome power of
the Predators. This then becomes a three way system. The Angels are
available in a range of materials including our synthetic stone, hardwood
or acrylic finishes.
